Investing 101:

Why invest?

The most logical place to start is why bother with investing in the first place? This answer varies from person to person, but for me, it has less to do with money, and more to do with a disciplined way for me to stay current and aware of the world around me. An investor mindset forces you to look for opportunity in every situation: reading a headline like “semiconductor shortages threaten car supplies” makes me think of which companies benefit and which companies are harmed. As I shop on Amazon, I’m thinking about how hard it is for someone to copy the infrastructure that Amazon has…
